Dr. Tunac is a medical scientist specializing in the discovery and development of drugs and has 40 years of drug development experience for Merck, Warren Lambert Park Davis, Fermical and Farmaceutix where he discovered the anti-embolic mechanism. 30+ patents and patents pending and more than 35 scientific publications. Graduate studies at S. Dakota St. and Penn St., doctorate from Rutgers, NJ; The Waksman Institute: the birthplace of antibiotics
Brett Homovec
Chief Executive Officer
Brett gained his Corporate Finance/Mergers and Acquisitions experience as a VP in the Investment Banking Group for Rodman & Renshaw in New York and Chicago, Senior Associate in the Dean Witter Reynolds Corp Finance Group and as an audit professional for Touche Ross & Co. in New York. Brett graduated from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in Economics and received his MBA in Finance from New York University - Stern School of Business.
Mike Brennan

Mike was one of the Founders of Arterez and he was a passionate leader, serving as CEO since inception. Thanks to Mike’s leadership, Arterez advanced the development of its therapeutic and diagnostic platforms, achieving many key milestones. Mike’s passion and vision are alive and well in Arterez, and we are honored and privileged to carry it forward. Mike was a serial entrepreneur and team leader with 15 years managing high-tech operations, followed by 15 years serving as a consultant to entrepreneurs, startups and turnarounds, leading funding, growth and commercializing innovations across the spectrum of industries. Mike helped numerous companies achieve success and Arterez was and will continue to be his greatest work.
Dr. Abraham Escobedo-Moratilla

Dr. Abraham Escobedo is a molecular biologist with extensive experience in both academic and private sectors. He has deep knowledge of the Mexican market and US/Mexico IRB regulatory landscape, and currently serves as the Mexico Country Study Manager, Senior Scientist, and US/Mexico IRB Regulatory Specialist for Arterez Pharmaceuticals.

Meeghage Madusanka Perera, Ph.D,
Data Analysis, profile and algorithm development
Meeghage is an experienced data scientist and computational physicist with an outstanding problem solving, analysis and machine learning skill set. He is passionate about extracting useful information from large-scale unstructured data to create unprecedented business values. Meeghage is providing data analytical work for Arterez to develop disease profiles and proprietary algorithms for disease identification and characterization. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics, Wayne State University and a B.S in Physics, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. He is a Sun certified programmer for the Java 2 platform 1.4, AI: From Neural Networks to Artificial Consciousness - Stanford Continuing Studies, Machine Learning, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, Improving Deep Neural Networks and AWS Fundamentals: Going Cloud-Native, Creating Serverless Applications
Clinical and Regulatory Advisor
Bonnie is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases (ABIM and NBPAS) and interventional cardiology (NBPAS). She holds a Master of the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions (SCAI), and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the Council on Clinical Cardiology and the American Heart Association. She is a past President of SCAI. She has been the Principal Investigator for many industry and government sponsored research activities for pharmaceuticals, medical devices and connected health societies and has been instrumental in the design and execution of clinical trials leading to regulatory approvals and post market data acquisition and serves on the board of the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons (NBPAS).
